Cyberjaya is a planned tech city of office parks, data centres, and serviced apartments, with a large student population at MMU, Limkokwing, and other campuses.
What we usually see in Cyberjaya
Condo aircon ledges and shared drain stacks
In condominiums, outdoor aircon units sit on narrow ledges, so access decides how the job is done. Kitchen sinks and floor traps connect to shared stacks, which is why blockages sometimes start below your unit.
Homes above shop-houses
Many shop-house rows have homes or home offices upstairs, with long pipe runs, shared roofs, and aircon units mounted at the back. Leaks from the floor above and weak water pressure on upper floors are typical calls.
Rental rooms with many small aircon units
Houses rented out room by room near campuses often have a small aircon unit in every room running long hours. Landlords usually service all units together between semesters and call for repairs when a unit or a socket trips.
