Before you book
Questions people ask before the technician comes.
How often to service an aircon, chemical wash versus normal service, gas top-ups, tripping power, and booking.
Where is Just Fix by 0x?
The office is at 12-1, Jalan Radin Bagus 9, Bandar Baru Sri Petaling, 57000 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur. Technicians come to you across Kuala Lumpur and Selangor, including Sri Petaling, Bukit Jalil, OUG, Kuchai Lama, Cheras, Puchong, and Seri Kembangan.
How often should I service my aircon?
For units running most nights, every three to six months. Units used only occasionally can go longer. If you see dust on the filters or water dripping, it is due.
What is the difference between a normal service and a chemical wash?
A normal service cleans the filters, sprays the coil in place, and flushes the drain. A chemical wash takes the indoor unit apart so the coil, blower, and drain tray can be soaked and cleaned. It is for units that smell, drip, or cool weakly after a normal service.
Does my aircon need a gas top-up every year?
No. Refrigerant runs in a sealed loop and is not used up. If the pressure is low there is a leak, which should be found and fixed before topping up.
Why does my power trip when it rains?
Water is usually getting into an outdoor socket, light, or cable and letting current leak to earth. The main switch trips to protect you. A technician can test each circuit to find which one.
Are prices listed online?
No. The cost depends on the job, the number of units, and the parts needed. Send the details on WhatsApp for a quote before the visit.
Can you fix several things in one visit?
Yes. Tell us everything that needs doing when you book, such as an aircon service and a leaking tap, and it will be planned into one visit where possible.
Do you work in condos?
Yes. Some condos need the contractor registered with management before the visit. Let us know when you book and we will send the details they ask for.
