Structure and wet works

Hacking and wet works

Hacking walls and tiles, brickwork, plastering, screeding, and debris disposal.

Worker hacking old wall tiles in a stripped bathroom, rubble in sacks by the door.

The heavy part of a renovation: taking out non-structural walls and old tiles, building new brick walls, plastering, and laying screed, with debris carted away in roro bins.

What the work covers

Hacking non-structural walls, floors, and tiles, new brickwork, cement render and plaster, floor screed, and debris removal.

How the job runs

Walls are checked before hacking. Anything that could be structural is referred to an engineer first. Noisy work follows the condo's permitted hours, and debris is bagged and removed so it does not pile up on site.

Before we start
