A renovation goes well or badly in the planning.
Most renovation trouble starts with something nobody checked: a wall that turns out to be structural, a condo rule about hacking hours, a worktop ordered before the cabinets were in. Just Reno by 0x plans the order of work, the approvals, and the materials before the site opens, then runs every trade to that plan.

Approvals
Replacing a kitchen inside a landed home usually needs no council plan. Condos need a management renovation permit and deposit before work starts.
Kitchen renovationTimes are typical ranges for a terrace house or condo once materials are confirmed. Council approval, condo rules, made-to-measure items, and what is found behind old walls can make them longer.

Common questions
Where is Just Reno by 0x?
The office is at 5-G, Jalan Radin Anum 2, Bandar Baru Sri Petaling, 57000 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur. Site visits cover Kuala Lumpur and Selangor, including Sri Petaling, Bukit Jalil, Cheras, Puchong, Petaling Jaya, and Subang Jaya.
Do I need council approval to renovate?
Work that adds floor area, changes the structure, or alters the front of the house, such as an extension, needs plans approved by the local council. Replacing kitchens, bathrooms, floors, or paint inside the house usually does not, though some councils ask for a minor works permit.
What do I need to renovate a condo?
A renovation permit from the management, usually with a deposit, and the contractor's details. Most condos set hacking hours, ban work on Sundays and public holidays, and have rules for lift protection and debris.
How long does a kitchen or bathroom take?
A kitchen usually takes about 4 to 6 weeks on site, and a bathroom about 2 to 3 weeks, once materials are confirmed. Made-to-measure cabinets and worktops set most of the timing.
