Signs you need it
Extension cords in every room, sockets that are loose or scorched, a DB box with old rewireable fuses, or new appliances that need their own circuit.
What the technician does
The technician checks the DB box and the existing circuits, agrees the new points with you, runs the wiring in trunking or concealed in the wall, and tests every circuit and the RCCB before closing up.
Before work starts
In Malaysia, fixed wiring must be done by a competent person registered with Suruhanjaya Tenaga (the Energy Commission). You can ask to see the technician's competency card before any work begins.
