Cyberjaya is a planned tech city of office parks, data centres, and serviced apartments, with a large student population at MMU, Limkokwing, and other campuses.
What we usually see in Cyberjaya
Cockroaches and bed bugs in condos
In condominiums, cockroaches travel between units through refuse chutes, pipe shafts, and shared walls, and bed bugs often arrive with luggage or second-hand furniture. Treating one unit works best when neighbours and management know about it.
Restaurants and shop-office rows
Busy food and shop-office rows share back lanes, grease traps, and bins, so cockroaches and rats move between units. Food businesses usually need scheduled treatment with service records.
Shared houses and bed bugs
Where many rooms are rented to students, bed bugs travel in with luggage and second-hand furniture, and shared kitchens attract cockroaches. Treating every room in one visit works better than treating one room at a time.
