Termites

Termite inspection

Full inspection of timber, walls, and the garden for subterranean termite activity, with a written report.

Technician pressing a moisture meter against a wall beside a timber door frame.

Subterranean termites are the most destructive pest in Malaysian homes, and they work out of sight. An inspection finds where they are active, how they are getting in, and what treatment fits.

Signs to look for

Mud tubes on walls or skirting, timber that sounds hollow when tapped, winged termites (kelkatu) swarming around lights after rain, piles of discarded wings, and doors or frames that suddenly stick.

What we check

Door and window frames, skirting, built-in cabinets, the roof space where it can be reached, wet areas, and the garden. A moisture meter helps find damp spots termites favour. You get a written report of what was found and the treatment options.

Before the visit

Clear access to built-in cabinets and the roof hatch, and tell us where you have seen mud tubes or swarming. Please do not spray or break the mud tubes before the inspection.

Seen something you should not have?

Send a photo and your area. We will identify it and book an inspection.
