Wangsa Maju is a planned township from the 1980s with rows of terraces, low-cost and medium-cost flats, and newer condominiums near the LRT stations at Sri Rampai and Wangsa Maju.
What we usually see in Wangsa Maju
Termites in older roofs and door frames
Houses from the 1960s to 1980s often still have timber roof trusses, wooden door frames, and built-in cabinets that termites feed on. Mud tubes along walls, hollow-sounding skirting, or wings near windows after rain are the usual first signs.
Cockroaches and bed bugs in condos
In condominiums, cockroaches travel between units through refuse chutes, pipe shafts, and shared walls, and bed bugs often arrive with luggage or second-hand furniture. Treating one unit works best when neighbours and management know about it.
